Brief Description

Anker Bridge nursery are looking for a new early years Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early years practitioner L2 Apprenticeship.

Vacancy Detail

Are you passionate about working with children and eager to begin a career in early years education? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Childcare Apprentice! No prior experience is necessary, full training will be provided.


As an apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced Room Leaders, Nursery Managers, and other team members to help deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. You will assist in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children, both indoors and outdoors, while gaining practical experience and completing the academic components of your apprenticeship.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Help plan and deliver play-based activities that promote each child's learning and development.
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating, and caring space for children, staff, and visitors.
  • Learn and adhere to nursery policies, including safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, maintaining clear communication.
  • Support the nursery team in meeting Ofsted requirements and ensuring high standards of care and education.
