Brief Description
Barrett Steel are looking for a mechatronics apprentice to support the engineering requirements of the organisation. As part of a team you will ensure support is provided across all mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the companies manufacturing equipment and facilities services.
Training to be Provided
This is a Level 3 Mechatronics apprenticeship, delivered over a 30 month period.
The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, for the first 10 months.
Future Prospects
Upon sucessfull completion of the apprenticeship there will be a full-time position avaliable at the company
Vacancy Detail
Working on a variety of machines from lasers to band saws, drilling machines and shot blast and paint lines. This includes but not limited to:
- Breakdowns
- New installations
- Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Opportunity to visit other sites as experience grows
- Possible nationwide travel
