Brief Description
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you’ll support the design and construction of exhibition stands. Working with experienced staff, you’ll gain hands-on woodworking and build skills in a fast-paced, creative environment while learning key production techniques.
Training to be Provided
The training follows a blended learning model, delivered primarily on-the-job during working hours. A structured learning and assessment plan ensures progress is regularly evaluated throughout the course with quarterly two-day practical sessions at Worcester Training Academy.

Vacancy Detail
- Assist with the construction of exhibition stands, staging, scenic elements, and bespoke event builds.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Support workshop preparation, including material handling and stock organisation.
- Assist with on-site installations and breakdowns at venues across the UK when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with workshop, production, and project teams.
- Develop knowledge of different materials including timber, MDF, laminates, and exhibition systems.
Other Information
- Previous workshop, DIY, or construction experience.
- Interest in events, exhibitions, theatre, or creative production.
- Full UK driving licence (or willingness to work towards obtaining one).
