Working Week: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Half hour lunch.
Brief Description
You will be working within our admin team supporting different departments for best outcomes. You will be required to be involved in general office admin, preparing quotes, invoicing and updating computer records, amongst other duties, whilst working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Training to be Provided
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will complete the following qualifications as part of your Apprenticeship:
- Level 3 Business Administrator Standard Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills maths and English if not already achieved
- You will also develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work within an office environment
- This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and 20% of your working time will be dedicated towards training and learning new skills
- You will be allocated a tutor who will provide you with
personal support and assessment at pre-arranged times - Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence and professional discussions. All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio
Future Prospects
- Upon completion of a 17-month apprenticeship the role will be reviewed for a permanent position
Vacancy Detail
This is a varied role within a growing company for an Apprentice Administrator, dealing with general admin duties and daily tasks.
You will be working towards a recognised Level 3 Business Admin qualification.
You will be working within our admin team but also supporting other departments to deliver best outcomes. This is a varied role, and you will need to work accurately with good attention to detail.
Duties to include:
- General office administration
- Preparing quotes
- Booking accommodation for staff working away
- Processing workflows for jobs
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with customers
- Invoice creation, invoice input and maintaining company records
This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the manager which are relevant to your role within the company to meet the overall business needs.
Other Information
Dependent on progression over the 15 month period, the wage will be reviewed on a regular basis. Make sure you can travel to the place of work on a daily basis.
