Other Information
Candidates must have a strong work ethic with the ability to work a physically demanding job, able to work at heights and in confined spaces. A willingness to learn and ability to retain information and reflect on learning in order to use initiative and be able to complete appropriate tasks independently. You will be working with colleagues in residential clients’ homes, and so they will need to be able to interact professionally with others and excellent punctuality.
We need a candidate who can drive and has their own vehicle.
You will need to make your own way to work each morning. This may be our office (SN6), but usually we get our junior team members to travel to the home of one of our senior technicians (one based in Wroughton, one based in west Swindon), as they will then accompany them to the job location from there. However, we tend to work out the most efficient travel arrangements based on the job location. We work across a large area within 1-1.5 hours radius of Swindon, i.e. Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire. Our on site working hours are 8am - 4pm, therefore this could require meeting colleagues at 6:45-7:00am in order to arrive to site by 8:00am. Travel time is not paid.
Candidates will be required to work a trial following a successful interview, and so will need to be willing to undertake this as part of the process.
