Brief Description

Mayway Construction based in Oadby, are looking to recruit a business administrator apprentice supporting the admin team and procurement department. Working in a small team you will be assisting with tasks to include general admin, answering calls, liaising with suppliers, data inputting, raising orders, site safety administration.

Training to be Provided


  • The apprentice will spend 80% of this apprenticeship working with the employer and 20% completing 'off the job' hours which will include attending Leicester College, Freemen's Park Campus one day every two weeks

  • Interacting with customers/suppliers either on the phone or in person

  • Taking phone messages and passing them on

  • Following up on business communications, billing, and ordering

  • Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors and  negotiating prices

  • Coordinating deliveries with sites

  • Learning and understanding about the company

  • Building relationships with the customers/suppliers

  • Preparing documents by printing, copying etc
