Brief Description
We are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team based in the Halton area. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician qualification.
Training to be Provided
The apprentice will attend Warrington College for off-the-job training and work towards the Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician standard.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship they will gain a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
Possibility of a full-time position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- Assist with installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Attend off-the-job training sessions as part of your apprenticeship.
- Work closely with your Electrical Mentor to track progress and meet targets.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to safe working practices and learn how to manage risks in varied environments.
- Learn how to read and apply electrical technical information and wiring regulations (BS7671).
- Learn the use of tools, components, and diagnostic techniques for installations and fault-finding.
- Learn how to install and maintain traditional and modern systems, including EV charge points and solar panels.
- Learn how to use scientific and mathematical methods in real-world tasks.
- Learn how to plan, inspect, and test electrical installations in line with industry requirements.
- Learn how to provide excellent customer service while working with diverse clients and teams.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Other Information
4 GCSEs Grades A–C (9–4) including Maths and English.
Overtime and weekend work opportunities are available depending on business needs and compliance with legal requirements.
Some flexibility with working hours may be required depending on site location and operational needs.
Work is carried out on-site in varying environments.
Multiple sites, but our Head Office is based in Preston Brook.
