Brief Description

This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in pension administration, including payroll processing, benefit calculations, and client communication. You’ll develop valuable financial and customer service skills while working on real projects, making a meaningful impact on people’s retirement planning.

Training to be Provided

All training will be delivered remotely with our provider as you work toward the Workplace Pensions Administrator Level 3 qualification.


You’ll be supported by a skills coach, mentors, and line managers, learning our systems and gaining the knowledge to advise clients and communicate confidently.

There are lots of career opportunities to explore beyond your apprenticeship. You will be encouraged to continue to study and develop your skills if you wish to do so, and many of our apprentices have gone on to more senior roles within Barnett Waddingham.

  • Communicating with clients, their members and advisers via email, letter, and telephone

  • Process client pension payrolls, including calculations of net pay, arranging payments, liaising with tax offices and preparation of year end returns
