Working Week: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am until 4.00pm. Friday, 7.30am until 2.30pm.
Brief Description
An opportunity has become available to be able to train to be able to set, operate and program a variety of CNC milling, turning and sliding head machines in a fast-paced, forward thinking and progressive engineering environment.
Training to be Provided
- As part of your training you will be required to attend Sheffield College once per week to work towards a level 3 Machining Technician apprenticeship
Future Prospects
- Possibility of permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
Vacancy Detail
- Train to set operate and program CNC machines
- Perform quality checks using a variety of inspection equipment
- Learn engineering techniques such as bench fitting, Manual processes and Robotics
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strictly adhere to safe working practices
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
