Brief Description
We are looking for a level 2 or level 3 early years apprentice, working in a home based childcare setting with children from 9 months to 11 years.
Training to be Provided
- Paediatric First Aid
- Functional Skills in English and maths at level 2 if required
- Work based and tutor supported online training
- Preparation for End Point Assessment

Future Prospects
- Movement onto the next level of apprenticeship and/or potential permanent employment for the correct candidate
Vacancy Detail
- Working in a home based childcare setting with children from 9 months to 11 years
- The setting also has a Golden Retriever Therapy dog
- Reading stories
- Setting up activities
- Nappy changing (you would be in place with Ofsted)
- Monitoring children
- Helping with lunch, dinner time.
- Trips out Music Group, local residential Carehome and playgroups etc
Other Information
- Please note that if you do not have a level 2 childcare or early years qualifcation, but have some early years or related work experience, then you may be considered for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship.
- Clear DBS, all checks will be carried out including social services
checks. - Must be able to travel to the work place location
