Brief Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Property Maintenance Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to begin or further develop a long-term career in the construction industry. Working alongside experienced and skilled professionals, you will gain practical, hands-on experience.
Training to be Provided
- Practical on-the-job training with experienced property maintenance professionals
- Off-the-job training delivered by the training provider/college
- Regular reviews and support from your assessor and workplace mentor
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required, depending on your existing qualifications)

Vacancy Detail
- Assisting with general property repairs, maintenance and improvement works
- Learning basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, tiling and patch plastering skills
- Carrying out routine inspections and identifying maintenance issues
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Helping to prepare work areas and maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Supporting the team in completing maintenance tasks to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Working with customers, tenants and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
Other Information
Full Driving licence – with the ability to travel to sites within our operating area (South & West Dorset & Purbecks / South Somerset / even potentially East Devon).
