Brief Description
Key Day Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship L2 / 3 dependent on prior experience.

The role offers valuable experience supporting children's learning and development, assisting with daily routines, planning engaging activities, and creating a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially and educationally.
Day-Day Responsibilities:
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play and planned activities.
- Assist with daily care routines, including feeding, changing and personal care.
- Help meet the personal, social and emotional needs of individual children.
- Deliver adult-led activities and interactions under supervision.
- Support practitioners in creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions.
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Support the nursery team with day-to-day operations and activities.
- Assist with emergency and fire evacuation procedures when required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional nursery team.
- Undertake training and development opportunities relevant to the role.
