Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Leadership and management
• Child development and theory
• Pedagogy
• Health and wellbeing
• Health and safety
• Equality, diversity, inclusion and SEN
• Safeguarding
• Partnership working
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

As an early years apprentice you will-

Provide exceptional care and engaging learning experiences under the guidance of qualified early years practitioners
Supporting the planning and delivery of fun, stimulating activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Building warm, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive environment for all
Supporting safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times
Participating in staff meetings, ongoing training, and development opportunities
Reflecting our nursery’s values and promoting a positive, nurturing environment
