Brief Description
A fantastic opportunity to join this busy and friendly accountancy firm, who specialise in Tax and VAT enquiries. You will join the company as a finance assistant, learning all aspects and processes of Finance, whilst completing an Assistant Accountant apprenticeship.
Training to be Provided
- Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Level 3 standard
- Weekly virtual half day session
- Weekly off the job training
Future Prospects
- The opportunity to progress to other levels of AAT
Vacancy Detail
- Processing Purchase and Sales Invoices
- Reconciling Bank Statements
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Communicate with clients to resolve bookkeeping queries and confirm tax liabilities
- Deal with HMRC for resolution of queries on client payments
- Data entry into accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, or Sage
- Supporting month end and year end accounting tasks
