L37 3HJ. We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

About the role:
As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.
Working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals, you'll develop practical skills and knowledge by:
- Dispensing and accurately labelling prescriptions
- Assembling prescribed medicines
- Selling over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products
- Providing advice and information on common ailments and healthcare products
- Ordering, receiving, storing, and managing pharmaceutical stock
- Monitoring stock levels and carrying out date checks
- Supporting NHS and private pharmacy services
- Delivering excellent customer service and patient care
- Working as part of a busy, professional community pharmacy team
About the Apprenticeship
- Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Integrated Apprenticeship (Level 3)
- Duration: 24 months
- Employment: Full-time paid position
- Training: Minimum of one full day each week dedicated to off-the-job learning and study
- Outcome: Eligibility to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
