About the role:

As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals, you'll develop practical skills and knowledge by:

• Dispensing and accurately labelling prescriptions


• Assembling prescribed medicines


• Selling over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products


• Providing advice and information on common ailments and healthcare products


• Ordering, receiving, storing, and managing pharmaceutical stock


• Monitoring stock levels and carrying out date checks


• Supporting NHS and private pharmacy services


• Delivering excellent customer service and patient care


• Working as part of a busy, professional community pharmacy team

About the Apprenticeship

• Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Integrated Apprenticeship (Level 3)


• Duration: 24 months


• Employment: Full-time paid position


• Training: Minimum of one full day each week dedicated to off-the-job learning and study


• Outcome: Eligibility to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
