Brief Description
You will work directly alongside our team of qualified, experienced carpenters. You will learn a broad range of hands-on skills while studying towards a nationally recognized Carpentry and Joinery qualification Level 2.
Training to be Provided
- Work based training and attendance to college on day release
Future Prospects
- Progress to NVQ level 3 or working supervisor
Vacancy Detail
- Assisting with the preparation and fixing of building components (joists, roofing, and stud walls)
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber for doors, skirting boards, and architraves
- Handling and learning to master both hand and power tools safely.
Keeping job sites clean, organized, and prepared for daily tasks.
Attending college/training provider days to complete the educational side of your qualification
