Brief Description
A rare opportunity to join Sturdy Foods Ltd is available where you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the business. You will gain hands-on experience in administrative tasks while working towards a relevant qualification.
Training to be Provided

- Location - Unit 1, Plews Lane, Northallerton DL7 9UL
- Working 5 days per week inclusive of 1 day release for study at Darlington College

Vacancy Detail
Tactical work:
- To collate payroll data each month and liaise with the bookkeepers to produce payroll
- To receive customer orders and input onto the sales system, ensuring accuracy is maintained
- To book transport for customer orders and ensure orders are delivered as required
- To carry out any other general office tasks and ensure the office is kept well organised and efficient, supporting other team members as needed
- To liaise with bookkeepers on day to day finance queries and answer queries as received in a timely fashion
Strategic work:
- To work with other team members and the Managing Director on continually improving systems and processes
- To undertake and deliver any agreed projects
Position specific KPI's and standards:
- To ensure a high standard of administration and keep errors to a minimum
- To liaise effectively with colleagues and display strong communication skills
- To maintain a friendly and helpful manner at all times when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Company wide standards:

Other Information
Please note that in line with UK apprenticeship regulations, you must have a valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England. This should cover the entire expected term of learning and residency should be held for a minimum of 3 years, exceptions may apply please see Apprenticeship funding rules for full guidance.
Applicants who obtained their GCSE qualifications outside the UK must hold a Statement of Comparability certificate demonstrating equivalence to UK GCSE standards.
