Brief Description
General Farm Worker (Top Fruit) We require a general farm Worker to support the Farm Manager on our Top Fruit Farms in Kent.
Training to be Provided
Crop Technician Level 3.
You will be studying at Hadlow College 1-day per month.
Future Prospects
We employ 14 seasonal workers each year to help with the harvest and once the apprenticeship is completed, we will need an extra person on the farm to supervise these workers during the harvest alongside general farm work throughout the year.
Vacancy Detail
Role will include:
- Pruning
- Spraying
- Grass cutting
- Irrigation
- Workshop repairs of tractors and machinery
- Tree husbandry and the potential for a supervisory role of seasonal workers later on
Other Information
Driving licence mandatory.
To be able to travel between our 3 farms and drive a tractor.
Salary Band £8 - £12.
