Brief Description
Inlex Locking Ltd are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Maintenance Apprentice. You will work alongside fully qualified engineers and gain hands-on experience. You will learn how to identify the root causes of faults, assist with breakdowns and repairs, carry out routine maintenance, and much more.
Training to be Provided
- This is a Level 3 Mechatronics Apprenticeship, delivered over a 39-month period
- The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training in Telford TF3 3AJ, 2 and a half days per week for the first 20 months
Future Prospects
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available as a Maintenance Engineer
Vacancy Detail
During this time you will learn:
- To ensure equipment availability is in line with department targets
- To engage in root cause analysis of repeat / major breakdowns and provide reports with suggested improvement
- To ensure Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed during electrical activities
- Attend training when required and adhere to Anochrome Group standards
- To facilitate the PPM schedules and recommend improvements
- To apply 5's methodology in work areas and the wider factory
Other Information
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in engineering, along with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Due to the working hours, applicants must be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this apprenticeship.
