Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the Business Administrator apprenticeship, learners may progress into roles such as Business Administrator, Office Administrator, Team Leader, Executive Assistant, or move onto a higher-level apprenticeship, such as a Level 4 qualification, to further develop their career.
Vacancy Detail
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the school office, helping to ensure pupils, parents, visitors, and staff receive a professional and welcoming service. Alongside your role, you will work towards achieving the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly and professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils,
and staff. - Answer telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Respond to emails and assist with general correspondence.
- Carry out data entry and maintain accurate school records.
- File, scan, photocopy, and organise documents.
- Support the administration of school attendance and pupil records.
- Assist with arranging meetings and preparing meeting rooms.
- Help produce letters, newsletters, and other school communications.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Support school events and activities where required.
- Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR.
- Carry out other administrative duties as requested by the School Business Manager or Office Team.
