Brief Description
We are looking for a diligent and punctual Junior IT Support Assistant with good problem-solving and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be willing to learn and develop through practical experience in the office, at home and on client sites.
Training to be Provided
Information Communications Technician Level 3:
- Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team
- Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects
Future Prospects
- The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position with potential promotion to Junior Consultant upon passing the apprenticeship
Vacancy Detail
The role will support day-to-day help desk activities, IT projects, and the management of monitoring and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Level 1 help desk issues
- Provide workstation support and application/software support
- Assist with IT projects
- Assist with the management of monitoring and security systems
- Provide helpful and professional customer service when supporting users and clients
Other Information
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over
- Own transport is preferred because the role includes travel to client sites
- Business mileage will be reimbursed at 30p per mile
