Brief Description
VQ Solutions is searching for a motivated, enthusiastic and proactive individual to launch their career as a Network Cable Installer with Safecontrol. In this varied, practical role, you will work alongside experienced engineers installing both network cabling and fibre networks nationwide.
Training to be Provided
You will work towards an Advanced level Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship delivered by VQ Solutions. You will have a dedicated VQ Mentor, and will also be supported internally by your manager.
During this apprenticeship, you will develop a portfolio, attend training courses, and have monthly reviews. All apprenticeship work will be completed during working hours.
Future Prospects
The majority of our apprentices are offered full-time roles upon the successful completion of their apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- Assisting with the installation of network cabling and fibre optic cabling
- Dealing with customers
- Carrying out site surveys
- Testing systems and providing customer training on the systems
- Maintaining and servicing existing systems
- Respond to call-outs and fault finding

Due to the nature of the sites that you would work on, you must be willing to partake in a Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check.
