Brief Description
Radius Systems is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice New Product Development Engineer to join its Technical Team.This apprenticeship combines practical workplace experience with college-based learning, giving you the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and experience needed to build a successful career in engineering.
Training to be Provided
- This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering Campus
- This attendance is required during term time only
- You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession
- You will experience a blended learning model

- You will progress onto HNC/D and will have the opportunity to apply for a bachelor’s degree post-apprenticeship
Vacancy Detail
You will undertake a series of placements in different areas of the business.
These may include:
- Product Engineering - combining design, engineering, and manufacturing processes to create and maintain innovative products
- Research and Analysis –Rigorous development testing of new and existing products to British and International standards
- Assembly and Manufacturing Engineering - Front line problem solving and improvement projects in the manufacturing area, including development of knowledge on manufacturing processes such as extrusion, injection moulding, and machining
- Where applicable, you may also experience business functions outside of Engineering, such as Finance, Customer Service, Quality, Applications, and Sales to gain a full understanding of our business
