Brief Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a career in engineering. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training across a range of manufacturing and engineering activities.
Training to be Provided
- Training will be delivered through a combination of practical on-the-job experience, day-release or block release attendance at college, and regular support from a dedicated Training Assessor
Future Prospects
- There may be the possibility of full time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- Assisting with equipment maintenance
- Supporting production efficiency initiatives
- Monitoring machine performance
- Contributing to engineering projects – including the design (CAD) and manufacture of machine components (tool making)
- You will also learn to interpret technical drawings, follow engineering procedures, and maintain accurate records
Other Information
Applicant will need to have good self-confidence and communication skills. They will be working with a older age range so will require the necessary inter-personal skills to do so.
