Brief Description

Cenu Cacao are looking to expand their team (currently 9) and give someone the opportunity to co-ordinate, and grow, their events. You'll have the support and mentorship of the company founder and a Marketing expert.

Training to be Provided

You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including the organisation, stakeholders, relevant regulation, business fundamentals, processes & external factors. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.

As with any apprenticeship opportunity - if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.

  • Engaging with prospective clients to gain a full understanding of their needs, define the scope of each event, and effectively manage expectations throughout the planning process.

  • Ensuring that each event aligns with client objectives, reflects brand goals, and adheres to established budget requirements.

  • Overseeing all operational aspects of events, from initial concept through to completion.

  • Developing engaging event themes and concepts, preparing detailed event plans.

  • Publicising events and managing creation and distribution of promotional materials.

  • Establishing clear timelines and timetables for each event, delegating tasks efficiently.

  • Managing event set-up, swiftly addressing any issues that arise, coordinating with staff as needed, and ensuring the smooth flow of all event activities.

  • Producing comprehensive reports to evaluate event outcomes and identify areas for future improvement.

  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.
