Brief Description
Assisting in the production and processing of apple juice and cider. Various seasonal operations but mainly packaging, hygiene and cleaning and general production assistant in all areas. Seasonal operations will also include orchard maintenance and harvesting. Working in farm buildings all year round.
Training to be Provided
- Training in the workplace and through Yeovil College
- Yeovil College: Group sessions in College every 4 weeks plus 3 individual hours in both July and August
Future Prospects
- If we feel the candidate has completed the course and their apprenticeship to a satisfactory standard then the option of a full time contract will be considered

Other Information
- You MUST be 18 years old or over due to handling alcohol
- Due to rural location, candidate must have a driving license and vehicle or at least a reliable form of transport
- You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship. In some cases, you may be required to have a telephone interview with Yeovil College prior to your application being passed on.
