Working Week: Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break and two 15 minute unpaid breaks. Friday, 08:00 - 12:00, with 1 paid 15 minute break.
Brief Description
Reporting to the Production chargehand/ foreman, the Production Operative apprentice is responsible for assembly work, including drilling, use of welding machine and tools, and sawing. In addition, the role involves stores/ warehousing tasks including operation of forklift trucks.
Training to be Provided
Apprentice will follow a lean manufacturing apprenticeship standard gaining a level 2 diploma in lean manufacturing.
Future Prospects
Possibility of full-time employment following the successful completion of the apprenticeship.
