Brief Description
NIBLETT & PRICE CONSTRUCTION LTD are providing an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to progress their career with them as a Bricklayer Level 2 Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers a blend of hands-on work and classroom-based learning, allowing you to gain the technical and practical knowledge needed for a successful career in bricklaying.
Training to be Provided
- College day release, 1 day a week taking place at Nottingham College Ruddington campus NG11 6JZ
- Please note that the college starts 7th September so you need to have applied, been selected for interview and started employment before this date

Vacancy Detail
Please note that in Year 1 of the apprenticeship you will be supporting qualified bricklayers on site, learning the basics of the job, generally helping out, learning how to mix mortar. You may do some pointing in Year 1.
Trowell skills are taught and developed onsite during Year 2.
- Assist in the construction and repair of walls, chimneys, foundations, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and mortar
- Prepare materials, mix mortar, and use various hand and power tools
- Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to understand project specifications
- Work on-site under the guidance of experienced bricklayers, ensuring that health and safety standards are always met
- Develop skills in laying bricks and blocks with precision, ensuring level and plumb construction
- Learn finishing techniques and work on a variety of residential and commercial projects
Other Information
Must be able to travel to Eastwood area for pick up for lifts to place of work and Ruddington for college day release at Ruddington, Nottingham NG11 6JZ.
Candidates living in central Nottingham are ideally placed to get to both locations
