Brief Description
As part of Keysight Technologies (Spirent Services) Ltd, our Positioning Technologies business unit helps the world's leading companies accelerate next-generation navigation and communication systems. Join us as a Test Technician Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge testing environment.
Training to be Provided
Location: Full-time Onsite at the Paignton office
HPW: 37.5 (including 1 day per week at South Devon College)
Future Prospects
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent Test Technician role or other suitable positions within the business, subject to performance and business needs.
Vacancy Detail
- Perform routine and non-routine testing on components, assemblies, and finished products
- Follow test procedures and document results accurately.
- Assist in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of equipment and systems
- Calibrate and maintain test instruments and measurement tools.
- Report any product issues or failures to engineering or quality teams
- Support investigations into test failures and non-conformities
- Help improve test methods and suggest ideas for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain an awareness of and adherence to QEHS policies and procedures. i.e. Quality, Environment, H&S and IT Security policies
Other Information
- A genuine interest in electronics, engineering, or diagnostics
- Preferably a Level 3 qualification in engineering or a related subject or relevant industry experience
- Please note that applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
