Brief Description
We are looking for a reliable and motivated apprentice with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn a skilled trade. You will work alongside experienced Goss operatives and be allocated a dedicated in-house mentor who will be responsible for your practical training.
Future Prospects
You will be Goss’s first apprentice and will play an important part in the company’s future growth. Successful completion may lead to a permanent Industrial Painter and Decorator role.
Vacancy Detail
- Preparing, cleaning, sanding, filling and repairing surfaces.
- Applying primers, paints and specialist coating systems.
- Using brushes, rollers, hand tools and power tools safely.
- Commercial painting and airless spraying.
- Hygienic and fibreglass-reinforced coating systems.
- Following manufacturers’ instructions, RAMS and strictly following site rules.
- Using PPE correctly and maintaining a safe working area.
- Producing work to Goss standards for quality and customer service.
