Brief Description
Level 2 Traffic Operator Apprentice is build to support traffic teams in the transport and logistics sector, helping ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and goods. The role combines practical experience with training.
Training to be Provided
The apprenticeship includes regular training with an award-winning training provider TRS Training. You will attend monthly online sessions, and you'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff whilst completing your 13-month, Level 2 apprenticeship.
Future Prospects
Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, the anticipated progression route is to continue professional development by working towards the Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Vacancy Detail
The Transport Planning Assistant apprentice will support the day-to-day operation of the Edmonton Transport Office, helping to ensure the Company's HGV fleet and drivers operate safely and in accordance with relevant transport legislation and compliance requirements.
Working under the supervision of the Depot Transport Manager, the apprentice will develop practical experience in driver compliance, tachograph analysis, vehicle documentation, accident investigation and transport administration. The role will involve regular communication with drivers, planners, workshops and other operational colleagues.
