Training to be Provided
As a Level 3 Apprentice within the Council, you will benefit from a supportive and rewarding environment designed to help you grow and succeed, including:
A structured apprenticeship programme leading to a recognised Level 3 qualification
Attendance at college one day per week and four days in the council offices
Hands on experience in digital services, project support, and operational delivery within a Local Authority
Ongoing training, mentoring, and support from experienced colleagues

Vacancy Detail
As a Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprentice, you will take a role in the evolution, development, specification, testing, and first‑ and second‑line support of the council’s diverse finance and digital services. This includes working extensively with the Microsoft product suite, as well as supporting a range of local government legacy systems, hybrid private and public cloud environments, personal devices, and underlying infrastructure.
