Brief Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team within the Lease Car Department of Cumbria, Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. This apprenticeship provides excellent opportunities for personal and professional development & real business experience from day one.
Training to be Provided
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- Off the Job Training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard
Future Prospects
There is an opportunity for the right candidate to be trained with a view to employment should a suitable position become available
The aims of either programme are:
- For an individual to gain a nationally recognised qualification
- To enhance knowledge and understanding of working for an NHS employer
- To gain recognition for competencies used in a workplace
- To develop and demonstrate the under pinning knowledge required in this role
- Providing recognition of prior learning for future learning (RPL)
- Provide a foundation for further development
Vacancy Detail
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated candidate, who can demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. To provide high levels of customer service and trouble shoot issues over the telephone and via e-mail to both clients and suppliers.
The role will be working alongside existing teams and will support the commercial manager. The role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help deliver and develop new services as the department grows.
Your exact duties will vary but you will need to show you can work with a team or member of staff to handle various tasks.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phone calls / delivering customer service via telephone and email
- Processing orders and quotations, making administrative changes, solving problems
- Maintaining accurate customer records across all internal systems
- Developing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships
- Continually progressing and developing personal skills and knowledge
- Following agreed processes and procedures and contributing ideas for continuous improvement
Patient/Client care:
- You may come into contact with patients / visitors
Policy and Service Development:
- Follows Trust policies in own role
- Employees have a duty to take responsible care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their activities
- To co-operate with their work area by complying with all health and safety rules and safe systems or work; and to inform their line manager of any work situation, or practice which may be considered a danger
