Vacancy Detail

Our engineers are responsible for the day-to-day servicing and repair of our diesel-driven pumps. The nature of the repairs varies depending on the faults identified and the condition of each unit.
When pumps return from hire, they undergo a thorough cleaning, refuelling, inspection, and any necessary maintenance or repairs.
Before being sent back out on hire, all pumps are tested to ensure they are operating correctly. This includes checks on pumping efficiency, vacuum performance, and overall functionality.
A significant amount of servicing is also carried out in the field. This involves travelling to customer sites across the country to perform routine maintenance, including oil changes and the replacement of fuel and air filters, as well as conducting general inspections to ensure the pumps remain in good working order.
As an apprentice at Alba Dewatering Services Limited your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a fleet of diesel driven dewatering pumps
• Repairing where needed any faults
• Inspecting equipment going out or from hire
