Brief Description
The Apprentice will support the production team in the manufacture, assembly, inspection and testing of industrial hose assemblies fabricated products. You will be expected to build competence over time, working under supervision and towards more independent working as skills, training and authorisations are achieved.
Training to be Provided
- Training will take place at Printworks Campus, Leeds.
- You will attend college one day per week.

Vacancy Detail
- Assist with the preparation, cutting, assembly and finishing of industrial hose assemblies.
- Learn how to identify different hose types, fittings, liners, materials and end connections.
- Support the manufacture of hose assemblies to customer specifications, drawings and work instructions.
- Assist with crimping, swaging, cutting, measuring, marking, cleaning, finishing and packing of hose products.
- Help ensure finished products meet dimensional, quality and traceability requirements.
- Support pressure testing, visual inspection and final checks where trained and authorised.
- Maintain accurate records where required, including batch, material, serial, test and job information.
Other Information
- A qualification in Engineering would be desirable but not essential.
- A passion for Engineering.
