Brief Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Bodywork & Vehicle Paint Spray Apprentice to join our friendly workshop team at Whitestar Travel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicles who is keen to learn the skills needed to build a career in the automotive repair industry.
Training to be Provided
Day release at Sunderland College.
Future Prospects
There will be the possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands-on experience in:
- Preparing vehicles for repair by cleaning, sanding, filling and masking damaged areas.
- Learning how to mix paint, apply primers, base coats and clear coats using professional spray equipment.
- Assisting with repairing damaged body panels and replacing parts where required.
- Polishing, buffing and finishing repaired vehicles to achieve a high-quality professional finish.
- Following health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment.
