Brief Description
We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our dynamic team at our Head office in Sandhurst as an Electrical Apprentice. The course on offer is City and Guilds Electrotechnical apprenticeship qualification (5357-03/23) that is being carried out at various colleges from September 2026 as a day release.
Training to be Provided
4 Days on-site 1 day in college.
Future Prospects
Apprentice- Junior Engineer- Electrical Installation Engineer- Electrical Design- Lead/ Supervisor.
Vacancy Detail
- Design, develop, install and maintain electrical control systems and components to specification
- Reading design specifications and technical drawings
- Aiding in the production of detailed functional design specifications (FDS), method statements and risk assessments (RAMS).
- Chance to learn the production of PLC software
- Chance to learn the production of HMI / SCADA software
- Site installation and commissioning
- Customer facing position
Other Information
The candidate will need to have a full UK driving licence due to the nature of the site-based work and commuting to college.
Other Desirable Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge
- Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation or maintenance role or a strong interest in a career in electrical engineering.
- Electrical design including EPlan or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Control panel design, manufacture or electrical installation skills.
- Experience of equipment installation and commissioning
