Brief Description
Big Star are looking to recruit an Assistant Business Manager to join its team of twenty-five. The individual must have a passion for music and entertainment and a desire to pursue a long term career within Accounting. You will be working in a fast paced and varied environment alongside a team who work hard but also enjoy socialising.
Training to be Provided
BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
Future Prospects
Promotion to Business Manager in due course and experience working alongside qualified accountants to assist them with general preparation of accounts and personal tax as and when the need arises.
Vacancy Detail
- Issuing invoices to customers
- Input Transactions into XERO
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Ensure receivables are collected promptly
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure taxes are paid to HMRC within deadline
- Record all cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Maintain petty cash registers
- Paying supplier invoices
- Credit control
- Assist with payroll and processing of monthly journals
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as when and needed
- Respond to client requests on a timely basis
- Assist accountants as and when the time arises
Other Information
- Experience of Xero software advantageous.
- Strong interest in music and entertainment sectors.
