Brief Description
The apprentice will play an important role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the practice. Duties include: Assisting the dentist chair side, Reception duties and Decontamination duties. The apprentice must be able to work as part of a team.
Training to be Provided
- A Level 3 qualification has been approved by the General Dental Council as meeting the requirements for entry to the professional register as a dental nurse
- This is a weekly day-release program where the apprentice attends one of PTPs centres/ or attends an online Microsoft Teams to work towards their qualification
Future Prospects
- To be decided upon completion of training
- Possibility of full-time role to the successful candidate at the end of the apprentice, depending on performance
