Brief Description
We’re looking for someone bright, curious and up for learning to join our team at Signature Career Management as a Business Administration Apprentice. You’ll work towards your qualification through Macclesfield College, while getting proper, hands-on experience inside a growing recruitment business.
Training to be Provided
This apprenticeship will be workplace delivery meaning there is no day release to college.
Future Prospects
We want to develop someone who could build their career with Signature. Our aim is to progress our apprentices into recruitment roles once they’ve completed their studies, and there may also be opportunities to move into areas such as marketing as the business grows. We can’t guarantee a particular role at the end, but we can guarantee that we’ll give you plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and discover what you’re good at.
If you’re ambitious, we like that.
Vacancy Detail
What will you actually be doing?
The Business Administrator role is pretty broad, and that’s deliberate. Your main job will be helping our Recruitment Consultants do what they do best, while learning how a recruitment business works from the inside out. And if you read some of the list below and think, “I have absolutely no idea how to do that”, good. Nobody does until they’re taught. We’ll train you.
Recruitment support:
- Answering the phone and fielding calls
- Actioning bounce-back emails
- Using our CRM system to input coding, information and data
- Uploading candidate applications to our CRM
- Formatting candidate CVs
- Adding meeting notes to our CRM
- Uploading job adverts to third-party websites
- Using resources such as LinkedIn to identify hiring managers and HR professionals
- Searching job boards to spot businesses that are recruiting and sharing opportunities with our recruitment team
- Completing initial Candidate Registration calls, gathering information and passing it to the appropriate Recruitment Consultant
- Helping the team put together client proposals and assignment updates
- Keeping an eye on FMCG industry news and sharing anything interesting with the team
- Getting involved in ad-hoc business projects, including keeping information up to date, system management and business growth projects
- Marketing support
- Take ownership of and manage our company Instagram and TikTok accounts
- Creating company presentations to support our Directors
- Keeping our internal communications screens, YoDeck, updated
- Helping plan team events
- Getting involved in ad-hoc marketing projects with our Workplace Manager
So yes, you could be updating the CRM in the morning and helping plan a summer party in the afternoon. We did say it was varied.
