Brief Description
This gives people of all ages a chance to start an exciting career while earning a full-time wage. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in optics. Duties include: Booking customers in for eye tests, pre-screening and recommending suitable frames.
Training to be Provided
- Level 3 Optical Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Full-time 5 out of 7 days - including weekend working
- Daily on-the-job training in-store - no college to attend
- Training provider - Specsavers Optical Superstores Limited
Future Prospects
- Once you have completed the apprenticeship, you'll be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant with a massive range of career options ahead of you
- Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
Vacancy Detail

- Booking in eye tests

- You'll also make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible by looking out for any little problems that crop up
