Brief Description

You will be involved in varied areas of civil engineering design and consultancy related. The apprenticeship will include day release to university to gain a degree in civil engineering, professional membership qualifications and on the job training.

  • BSc Civil Engineering

  • Day release  at London South Bank University

Civil Engineers Apprentices provide support to Civil Engineers who design, build and manage construction projects with our design teams. Some of the activities could be:


Duties:



  • Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software for major infrastructure and construction projects.
    Work alongside experienced engineers, technicians and designers to understand engineering briefs, design intent, construction methods and how technical information supports real project delivery

  • Check, revise and update drawings and models, ensuring changes are correctly controlled and issued

  • Use project systems to manage engineering information, drawings, documents and digital records

  • Support project teams by participating in design reviews, coordinating information and applying company engineering and digital processes

Other Information

You will be based on a office with occasion visits to construction site and PPE use will be required for site visits.
