Brief Description
Property maintenance and carpentry as part of a skilled team you will learn a variety of tasks and skills that will give you a good grounding in this profession.
Training to be Provided
Property Maintenance Operative Level 2.
The apprenticeship will require you to attend one day a week at SBC Training, based in Battlefield in Shrewsbury. The other 4 days a week will be on site at the employer's request. Therefore, the ability to drive will be essential for this role.

If successful through your apprenticeship, then there is the opportunity to continue as an employee with us.
Vacancy Detail
First 1- 3 months:
- Work under instruction with general guidance
- Anticipating what tools are needed for what jobs
- Labouring
3-6 months:
- Carry out tasks with greater independence
- Competent with use of hand tools
- (screwdrivers, routers, sanders etc).
6-12 months:
- Be able to carry out tasks previously observed independently
with no instruction
12 months +:
- Sent to site working as part of a team on more complex projects
