Brief Description
Build your future as an Apprentice Independent Living Officer, supporting older and vulnerable customers to live independently while gaining hands‑on experience, a recognised qualification and the confidence to start a rewarding career.
Training to be Provided
Housing and Property Management Level 3.
Training takes place in the workplace with monthly 1:1 support sessions on Teams, online workshops every 6 - 8 weeks, and 8‑weekly reviews with your manager and Development Coach. You’ll also complete 6 hours of paid off‑the‑job learning each week as part of your apprenticeship commitments.
Future Prospects
After completing the apprenticeship, you’ll be ready to take the next step into housing, wellbeing or community support roles. Many apprentices progress into Independent Living Officer, Tenancy Support, Community Engagement, or wider housing and customer service roles across Calico. You may also choose to work towards higher‑level housing qualifications and continue developing specialist skills for a long‑term career in the sector.
