Brief Description
We are offering the opportunity for someone to complete a national apprenticeship with us here at Elmscot Group. We offer regular training and an in-house mentor to support you through your course. We have highly trained professionals who play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop and are kept healthy and safe.
Training to be Provided
- At the end of the apprenticeship, you will gain your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
- You will not be required to attend college or the learning provider premises, all assessments will be carried out on the nursery premises
Future Prospects
- Once you complete your Level 3, you may be offered a practitioner position at our nursery and have the opportunity to progress through the company. Subject to status.

- Caring for the children's individual needs and care routines
- Support the children's learning and development through activities you plan
- Observe children in accordance to the Early Years Foundation Stage with fun and exciting activities planned to meet individual needs
- Adhere to a consistent daily routine both indoors and outdoors, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences are offered to children at all times
- Working with parents to ensure consistency and high levels of care
- Reporting to a senior member of staff who will be on hand to offer support and guidance throughout employment
