Training to be Provided

Founded in 1974, we've been delivering market-leading learning and talent solutions for over forty years. We’re privileged to help individuals unlock their potential and realise the value of their skills and talents. As one of the UK's largest and longest-established apprenticeship and training providers, we're proud to help organisations and individuals unlock their potential, and make skills really work for them.

Upon completion of this 15 month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Assistant Accounts Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification.

Future Prospects

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Vacancy Detail

As part of our practice team, you’ll work across a variety of client accounts and gain exposure to real world accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed AAT Level 3 and wants to progress toward full qualification

  • Prepare bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients

  • Assist with year end accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

  • Support the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts

  • Process bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers

  • Assist with personal and corporation tax computations

  • Communicate with clients to request information and resolve queries

  • Use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and practice management tools

  • Support senior accountants with ad hoc tasks and client projects

Hybrid working. If the work is done and your clients are looked after, we're not counting who's at a desk. Our office will be open for people to be in at least 3 times a week for collaboration and team building.

Time off

  • 32 days off a year, rising to 37 with service. That's 31 days including bank holidays, plus your birthday on top, pro rata for a 30-hour week

  • We close between Christmas and New Year, and the days for that are already built into your allowance rather than taken out of it

Your career

  • A role that's built to grow. We'll review its shape at six months, and there will be people to manage within your first several months

  • Real progression as the practice grows, with no artificial ceiling on where you take it

  • Study leave and support if you're still working towards qualification

  • We cover your CPD and your professional body membership, so keeping your qualification current costs you nothing

  • Direct access to the directors from day one, which is the fastest way to learn how a practice is actually run
