Key Responsibilities & Duties
Under the guidance of the Warehouse Operators, the apprentice will learn to:
- Goods Inbound: Unload, inspect, and check incoming stock deliveries against paperwork
- Inventory Control: Put away goods into correct locations and support regular stock checks
- Order Picking: Locate and extract items accurately using digital or paper pick-lists
- Packing & Dispatch: Securely wrap, pack, and label goods for safe transport to customers
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Systems & IT: Use warehouse management software (WMS) and hand-held scanning devices
