Brief Description
Nene Valley Surgery as a Pharmacy Services Assistant apprentice, gaining a Level 2 qualification through Buttercups. Learn dispensing, stock management and patient care while gaining practical experience. Training to be Provided
The apprentice will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship through Buttercups Training Ltd, combining on-the-job learning within our dispensary with structured training, tutor support and assessments. They will develop practical skills under supervision and complete off-the-job training alongside their usual duties.
Future Prospects
On successful completion, the apprentice may progress to a qualified Pharmacy Services Assistant role, with opportunities to gain further experience, undertake additional training or progress to a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship, subject to entry requirements and available opportunities.
Vacancy Detail
The apprentice will support the dispensary team with preparing prescriptions, labelling medicines, managing stock, checking expiry dates and maintaining accurate records. They will learn to follow dispensary procedures, maintain patient confidentiality and provide a helpful, professional service, with all duties carried out under appropriate supervision while completing their training.
