Working Week Monday to Thursday - 8.00am to 5.00pm with 30 mins lunch break. Friday - 8.00am to 2.00pm (no lunch break).
Brief Description
Start your engineering career with MasterMover and help shape the future of electric material handling solutions. We are looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Apprentice to join our team and develop the knowledge and skills needed to install, maintain, fault-find and optimise electrical, control and automation systems.
Training to be Provided
This apprenticeship is taught at Shrewsbury College Higher Education centre at the London Road campus on a day release basis once a week (term time) where you will be taught the HNC in Electronic and Electrical Systems. The remaining working days will be at MasterMover site in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
In addition, your skills and behaviours will be assessed in the workplace against the apprenticeship standard.
Future Prospects
Potentially a full-time position following successful completion of the apprenticeship and performance reviews.
Vacancy Detail
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain practical experience in:
- Electrical assembly and wiring
- Reading electrical schematics and technical drawings

Other Information
Essential - Keen interest in electrical engineering, automation or control systems.
Desirable - Experience of engineering, electronics, coding, robotics or technical projects through education, hobbies or work experience.
