Working Week Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Brief Description
This is a Level 3 AAT Apprenticeship role - split 80/20 between working and earning with the employer gaining valuable hands on skills, and learning & gaining qualifications with Solveway Apprenticeships!
Training to be Provided
Gaining the AAT Level 3 (AQ2022) qualification.
Studying the following modules:
- FAPS - Preparing Financical Statements
- MATS - Management Accounting Techniques
- TPFB - Tax Processes for Businesses
- BUAW - Business Awareness
Future Prospects
On successful completion, this role can lead to progression onto the next level of the apprenticeship, full-time employment and additional responsibilities as skills and confidence grow.
Vacancy Detail
- Use accounting software and digital systems to support accurate and timely information.
- Carry out general administration and provide support to the wider office team.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and the meticulous maintenance of financial records.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and payroll processes.
- Help with producing accurate profit & loss accounts and balance sheets.
- Learn to prepare self-assessment tax returns for various clients.
- Record payments and receipts efficiently using industry-standard software.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies.
- Support client communications and the onboarding process for new clients.
- Learn how to effectively resolve queries with HMRC.
